Do I pay sales taxes on my purchases?

  • Yes, we are required to collect sales taxes. All residents of Canada will have GST or HST added to their order, including shipping.  Cloth diapers, diaper covers and children’s clothing are charged an HST rate of 5% in British Columbia, Ontario and Nova Scotia, with other items charged the full rate.  Newfoundland and Labrador and New Brunswick are charged the full rate of HST for all items purchased.  For the rest of Canada, if your province is one that collects a provincial sales tax your provincial government expects that you will reimburse them for the correct amount of provincial sales tax owed on any goods that you import into the province. This is your responsibility.

 

What currency are your prices in?

  •  All of our prices are listed in Canadian dollars.

 

What methods of payment do you accept?

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal by secure online payment.  For local pickup we will accept cash.  

 

What if I want to cancel my order?

  • As long as your order has not shipped you may cancel your order without penalty. If your order has shipped you will have to follow the steps for a refund as outlined in the Shipping and Returns Policy.

 

How long will it take for my order to ship?

  • Your order will ship within 1 to 3 business days - and we do our utmost to ship it within 1 business day. If for any reason there is a delay you will be contacted by email and given the option to change or cancel your order.

 

How soon will my order arrive?

  • All of our orders are sent by Canada Post Expedited. Once your order has shipped you will be emailed a tracking number that will allow you to follow your parcel’s progress. From the time your parcel leaves our hands you should receive it within 2 to 7 days, depending on your proximity to our  mailing location of Vancouver, British Columbia.

 

Is my shipment insured?

  • All of our parcels are shipped using Canada Post Expedited and our rates include full insurance coverage and a tracking number. 

 

What happens if my shipment does not arrive or arrives damaged?

  • In the event that your package arrives damaged or does not arrive within the expected delivery time frame, as outlined in shipping and returns, please contact us immediately at info@bumbini.ca so that we can initiate a claim for you with Canada Post.

 

Do you ship outside of Canada?

  • No, at the present time our business is concentrated solely on Canada. We may branch into international sales in the future.

 

Can I special order items?

  • We are happy to special order items from our suppliers that we do not normally stock. A special ordered item is a final sale.

 

What if I receive a product that is defective?

  • Manufacturer defects are flaws in a product that make it unusable. If the product you have purchased is defective you are usually required by the  manufacturer to deal with the manufacturer directly. We are happy to provide all necessary contact information. Please email info@bumbini.ca.

  

Do you have a 'gift registry'?

  • Our Wish List feature functions both as a shopping list for you to refer back to or as a gift registry.  If you would like to have friends buy items from a gift registry you simply create your Wish List, email the link to friends (the option is given on your Wish List page) or they can do a Wish List Search from the Wish List login page, and as long as people add items to their shopping cart from your Wish List page your Wish List will be automatically updated once items have been bought.
