At present we ship only within Canada.

We try our utmost to have your parcel shipped by the next business day, but it can take up to 3 days.  If an unforeseen event prevents us from shipping within that time frame you will be contacted and given the option to cancel or change your order.

All of our parcels are shipped using Canada Post Expedited and our rates include full insurance coverage and a tracking number. As soon as your parcel is shipped you will be sent an email with the tracking number.

Once your parcel is in the hands of Canada Post, Canada Post is responsible for its safe delivery. In the event that your package arrives damaged or does not arrive within the expected delivery time frame, as outlined below, please contact us immediately at info@bumbini.ca so that we can initiate a claim for you with Canada Post.

The following are the delivery service standards set by Canada Post, as shipped from Vancouver:

Our shipping rates are as follows:

local pickup

 

We offer local pickup every Friday at 10 a.m. at Granville Island. All orders must have been placed by 6 p.m. PST on Thursday evening to qualify for local pickup that week; orders placed later on Thursday evening or on Friday morning can be picked up the following Friday. If you choose this option we will email you to give further details on where to meet up. We are sorry that we are unable to be flexible with our day, time or location. If the local pickup time isn’t convenient for you, please note that we do offer a flat rate shipping fee of $5 + tax for all communities in Metro Vancouver that includes full insurance and a tracking number.

We offer a rate of $5.00 + tax for residents of the 24 municipalities of Metro Vancouver. Orders of $150 and over (before tax) ship for free. Packages are shipped Canada Post Expedited with full insurance. To see which municipalities are located within Metro Vancouver please click here.

All rates are before taxes, are in Canadian dollars and are subject to GST/HST. These prices include full insurance coverage for the value of your package.  We won't overcharge you for shipping - if the costs are less than estimated you will be reimbursed the difference between what you paid and what we were charged. 

Certain product items that are unusually bulky or heavy may incur additional shipping charges. This will be indicated on the product detail page.  Additionally, the above rates do not apply to orders with items marked as "local pickup only" (e.g. diaper pails).

If you live in a Northern Community there may be additional shipping charges and free shipping does not apply. We will contact you with the actual shipping cost and you will have the option to change or cancel your order at that time.

We really believe in the products that we carry and we want you to be just as happy with them as we are. If you are not pleased in any way we will do what we can to help. To process a return the following conditions apply:

  • From the date that you receive your package (as confirmed by Canada Post Tracking) you have 15 days to request a refund. After 15 days and up to 30 days from the date you receive your package you are eligible for an exchange or in-store credit but not for a refund. After 30 days all sales are final. Special order items are a final sale.
  • All items must be returned with the original receipt and in resalable condition: new, unused, unwashed, and with all original tags and packaging intact. Any item that is returned to us in less than resalable condition will be returned to the purchaser at their expense. We recommend that you wash and try one diaper / item before washing the whole set that you purchase in the event that you do not like the product.
  • To request a refund or return you will need to email info@bumbini.ca or telephone toll free 1.855.838.0788 or 604.838.0788 in Vancouver in  order to be issued with a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Once given a number you can proceed with shipping the item(s) to us, including the RMA number. Please do not ship anything to us without first having received a RMA number as it will not be accepted for refund. We suggest that you purchase postal insurance as we are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit to us.
  • Shipping charges are nonrefundable and the shipping costs to return the item(s) are the customer's responsibility. Any returned items that were purchased with a free shipping offer will have the cost of shipping deducted from the refund.
  • Returns will be processed within 3 business days of receipt of package provided that we deem the items to be in new, resalable condition. Items that were purchased with credit card will have the credit card reimbursed. All other returns will be processed by cheque. We do not charge a restocking fee.
  • For exchanges, the customer is responsible for the costs of shipping the items to Bumbini and for resending goods to the customer.

If your order is incomplete or you receive the wrong item we will correct our mistake immediately, at our expense.

If you believe the product you have purchased is defective you are generally required by the manufacturer to deal with them directly. We are happy to provide all necessary contact information specific to your product. Please email info@bumbini.ca
